My First Week Working at a Fast Food Restaurant

About a week ago, I began a side job at a fast food restaurant. My initial purpose of getting a side job was for finance reasons. But after working for a week, I’ve noticed that there were many moments where I wanted to quit. I reflected on the reason and concluded that it’s pushing me outside my comfort zone. 


I have really bad social anxiety, and I usually avoid talking to people as much as I can, especially people I don’t know. I’ve been working in the drive thru, so it forces me to talk to people. It was quite overwhelming in the past week. But I think if I continue, I can overcome my fears and my social anxiety will get better. 


Therefore, I am now going to challenge myself to continue. Now, my main reason to continue is to force myself to overcome my fears.
